Jill's Letter

Our first group of volunteers from Austria arrived on 12th September after a long wait due to the Covid pandemic.   In their absence our Sarah has overseen a complete overhaul of the Manse and kept the garden and allotment going, sharing produce among members of the community.   She has kept everything professionally 'ticking over' for us in the Manse, church and hall ... thanks Sarah!

The Guitarfest was a sell-out and a delight again this year; hopefully it will return to us another year under the leadership of Alison Smith, a most accomplished and friendly lady.   How lucky we are to have such wonderful playing right on our doorstep!  And don't forget our Harvest of the Sea service on 10th October at 3 p.m., with our own Male Voice Choir, the Rev. George Ayoma to speak and a good sing to be enjoyed by all - at last!

    ....................................

We continue to open the church every Tuesday morning from ten to twelve for private prayer and hold our usual services, including Communion, on the second and fourth Sundays of each month at ten-thirty.   Everyone welcome.   J.M.
