Statement of Commitment minuted 23rd May 2001
We are committed to building a future for Cawsand Congregational Church based on traditional community values, which welcome equal opportunity and mutual encouragement for sharing belief in Christianity through our worship and work.
I am delighted to report that I now have someone to share services with me which will reduce my workload considerably. Kevin Dudman lives in Torquay with his partner, Rob, and two lovely dogs and he has visited twice and then taken his first service for us - which was very well received. The dogs sit quietly in their cage while we worship and then run around the hall while we have a cuppa, hoping for biscuits! We very much hope that Kevin, who is currently studying for the Congregational Federation and has many years' experience in ministry, will become a fixture in Cawsand: early days yet but a very promising start.
Enjoy the summer!
