Statement of Commitment minuted 23rd May 2001
We are committed to building a future for Cawsand Congregational Church based on traditional community values, which welcome equal opportunity and mutual encouragement for sharing belief in Christianity through our worship and work.
In these difficult times we have all being trying to fill our time with meaningful activity and we at the church are no different. Our good friends Leo and the Austrian Government have continued to lease the Manse from us this year, despite the fact that, so far, no volunteers have been able to come to stay. So, while the Manse has been empty, it has been maintained and redecorated from top to bottom and is looking superb and ready for the volunteers who, we hope, will be able to come over later in the year. The church hall has also been painted out and renovated so we are going to be really smart when things finally open up....hopefully!
Let's just hope that we can say, with Mother Julian of Norwich, that 'all shall be well'...and the sooner the better for all of us! Stay safe and well and keep on being kind to each other.

We continue to open the church every Tuesday morning from ten to twelve for private prayer and hold our usual services, including Communion, on the second and fourth Sundays of each month at ten-thirty. Everyone welcome. J.M.
